Dustin Yorek is in his third season as an assistant coach for VCSU and has been elevated to Offensive Coordinator for the 2021 season.
A former collegiate offensive lineman, Yorek worked as the full time offensive line coach in 2020 after previously working with the tight ends during his first season. The Vikings had three All-Conference linemen in 2020, including 1st Team selections Troy Dietz and Sammy Trejo and 2nd Team selection Berkley Santos.
Prior to joining the Viking staff, Yorek worked five seasons with the Presentation College football program – serving as student assistant and graduate assistant before working two years as a full-time coach for the Saints. While at Presentation College, Yorek worked with the offensive line along with roles of assistant strength coach, video coordinator, alumni relations and camp coordinator.
Yorek was an offensive lineman during his collegiate career, playing two years at Central Lakes College and two years at Presentation College. He was named All-Conference and a USA Small College Football All-American as a senior at Presentation College.
A native of Little Falls, Minnesota, Yorek earned a bachelor's degree in exercise science from Presentation College and a master’s degree in sports management from Wayne State College.
He currently resides in Valley City with his wife Alyssa and daughter McKinley.
